Hi I am a new member who has been looking for a charity project to join. This is nice and simple because, even though I can readily knit garments, I find the prospect of freestyle square making to…Continue

Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.

Hi Sarah
Happy Birthday.....I hope its a good one. :))
Hi Sarah, I did reply to your comment about the cream Aran on the tally page of the UK Group but you may not see it there. Wool is wanted in South Africa so you could pop it into a parcel or two. If you prefer not to I would be happy to take it off your hands if you let me know how much you'd like for it. I use anything but Aran is great for hats.
Hello Sarah - a bit belated but I've been away for half term - hope the squares are coming along (isn't it fabby to do something useful when you're watching TV???)
I'm fairly new but I've found the group to be very friendly, so even if we aren't geographically close, it doesn't feel that way!

Hi Sarah,
Welcome to the group - I'm quite local to you as I'm in Alsager near Sandbach.
Welcome, Sarah from across the Atlantic! Glad to see you've already joined the UK discussion group - a lively, well-informed bunch ready to help and encourage at the drop of a (knitted, of course!) hat!
I'm sure you'll enjoy Square Circle forum; it's great for finding friends, understanding and inspiration.
So happy you joined us!
Welcome to Kas, Sarah from across the Pond in Canada. There's lots of lovely UK knitters on Knit A Square and they do some super fundraising and "KAS on the Go" days, when they get passersby involved too. I hope you enjoy the UK group, just click in the header above to join. I find KAS such a rewarding cause to be involved in and I hope you enjoy it too. The more creativity the better, it all warms and helps heal the children, gives them hope and love and the knowledge they're not forgotten. Do check out the New Member Guide which is found by clicking "Main Page" in the header above. To reach the Discussions just click Forum above. Any questions just PM me. :) Welcome to Knit A Square! Blankets and hats and sweaters direct from our hands to their hearts, a win-win.
