Hi Pamela, Leanne here from the KAS podcast. I am sending you an email to invite you on as a guest. Please let me know if you are willing to share your story with our members. Thanks!
I tried to send you a message but the kas email did not work. I will try at the library computer in the next few days. Now it is raining buckets here and basements are flooding! I am working on the blue scarf from the lovely yarn you sent me. Also a hat for kas. Hope you are well. Blessings!
The yarn I used said 10mm needles but I used 7mm to make him more chunky. I find it is best to secure the scarf at the back and make buttons from wool:))
Hello Jeanne, When i used to do this knitting in my younger:)) days I tried to make a rug but it used to curl up and no way would it stay flat. Years later as of now I thought scarf for teddies and I really enjoy doing it:))
Hi Jeanne, Thanks for your lovely comments. Boot sales are a good place to find cuddlies. So many children here don't keep their toys for very long so they are virtually new toys. I hope to knit some more teddies when I get some more stuffing and hopefully their faces will be better with a few tips from Kathy P:)
Yes, I made hem. I call him Joe Louis (the boxer) and he is finished so I will be sending him. Because I was satisfied with my terrible picture taking with that photo so that became my avatar.
Hello Jeanne and thank you for your warm welcome :)
I'm enjoying browsing the useful links you gave and am very inspired by the lovely things being knitted. I was amazed by Lizzie's story so sending needles and wool whilst my squares slowly take shape.

Thank you for the welcome <3 I haven't decided on a favorite pattern yet. I always like trying something new, and I love a challenge. :-)

Hello Jeanne,
