Hi Laurie. Don't want to disturb your Sunday, but I'd like your feedback on an idea I have for the French Kas info. Pam wants to set it up as a link page on the Knit-a-Square home page, and this link would be to a thread on the blog. I was thinking about titles and thought of "Carrément Votre", there being the play on words with carré and square. There would also be a francophone group, and I thought Francofils wouls be a suitable name. Please let me know what you think and ask your francophone friends. I want to get this set up soon as I have quite a few queries from French friends and I have a chance to have an article in the local French paper.
I just sent a friend request as you have been so supportive of my efforts for KAS with Wool-Girl.
You can check out my blog too if you like where I do some of the moaning if needed, and keep the positive upbeat comments for the Wool-Girl discussion which is available to the public.
Hi, Laurie ... The works in progress thread? I didn't know there was such a thing, but I think I already spend too much time on the computer and not enough time with needles in hand.
I had the pattern for the scarf because I thought the texture would make a nice square, so when he asked for a new scarf, I had an answer immediately. There still might be a square with this texture at some point.
Glad you got the picture of tools being used ... that square is the Candle Flames square that I posted in the June Challenge (if you want to see the finished product).
I'm currently using the medium sized stitch markers while making a scarf for my husband, and they are wonderful. They look so pretty on the yarn, but also move so smoothly between needles, and are so thin between stitches that I don't get funny-looking stretch marks. And of course, the chart keeper is being used, too ... it's a 44 row repeat!
Thanks again for your generous gift, and know that I send you thanks and hugs each time I use them.
Laurie, I am so excited! My prize from the April challenge arrived last night! These knitting tools are just beautiful. I can't thank you enough for your generosity and kindness. They are already being put to good use .... These are the small stitch markers, which work perfectly on this needle, 3.5mm, but I can see how the medium size will be more universal.
Hi Laurie, I hope you are well. A very belated thank you for the beautiful Valentine's Day heart in the Stitch Witches group. My apologies for being so quiet lately, but I have had major computer trouble (and some other issues), but now I am back :) Have a great day. G

Hi Laurie
Wishing you a VERY Happy Birthday and a wonderful year ahead. xo
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I love crocheting and it's much easier than I thought. I also really enjoy helping Knit-A-Square.

Take care, and keep stitching.

Hi, Laurie ... yes, sometimes life interferes with knitting!
The tools continue to be used and enjoyed. Thanks again.

Laurie what a lovely surprise and an honour to be your friend :)
Thank you so much Laurie! Thank you for leading the April challenge, every square I have seen is a piece of art on its own :) xoxo
Thanks so much Laurie! xo

Hi. Thank you for your message. Let me know if you find any anomalies.
I used to teach in a cegep in Montreal Bois de Boulogne).....many years ago. I loved it. After teaching secondary school, cegep was like paradise.

Hi Laurie
Did you get the 2 new translations I sent you a couple of days ago?
Just checking as we had a problem with the computer for a short time.

Spot on Bev, I whole heartedly second that!
