Thank you, yes we haven't been here long only about 2 years we used to live in Stafford! However I think I would much prefer France! Im not sure how to keep up with whether we can send squares or not. I haven't made enough up to send yet can you tell me where I need to go to keep an eye on this?
Will do, Valerie. Our friend Nick Is running and we'll be at the marathon at Second avenue east 96th -97th first , when they enter Manhattan and then later at 90 - 91street on Fifth where the runners enter the park to get to the finish line . I'll be there. on the left side of the street .
I will make a sign for Jennifer.
My friend's wife is French so we always support the Frenchies !!! Best of luck, Jennifer!!
Thank you for your email, Valerie. I live near Bourgueil in Indre et Loire. It is taking me a while to work out how to reply via email but details of your Facebook page in French will be very useful for my friends here. Best wishes, Gillian.
Thanks Valerie for translating the MMs achievement. If you look a bit further in the discussion, you will see that Bev has posted the next one.....Ronda's Birthday celebration.
This is very exciting and we hope we can surprise Ronda with a months rent as her gift. Linda xx
Goodmorning to you too Valerie, thank you so much :) Your suggestion about the cuddle bug square is great. I should not have thought of that! The bug consists of 5 circles only and an adapted circle for the head. Shall I try to write down the pattern? what do you think about that? (My idea was: Anneke when you can crochet a circle you can crochet a cuddle bug). xoxo
Imagine we all should sit together (I would love to) and sit at the table with lots of balls of wool, talk talk talk a lot but also do a lot of crochet or knitting, aren't we multitasking women??? :)))
Thank you, Valerie, for your kind message ... we are all privileged to have shared some small part of history with Nelson Mandela, I think ... he was an example of grace and forgiveness to everyone on the planet - never to be forgotten !!
Hi Valerie, no trouble at all. It's lovely to hear from you! What a wonderful idea! I'll toss the names around here, but I love them both. Congratulations on the newspaper article! Every step we take really does bring us more squares for the children.

Hi Valerie, you certainly do not have to apologise to me for being absent!! I've been bombarded with plums, raspberries, red currants and black currants from my neighbour who has an allotment! Plus I'm trying to organise a tour of UK & Ireland to visit the Dolmen stones for a friend who is coming from Japan and taking me along for the ride! I shall be quiet for the next couple of weeks too!
My neighbour turned up yesterday with another 4kg of plums which I've had to freeze like mad in order to stop myself from hitting the buffers!
Good news about the yarn, but sorry to hear you are alone on the o-gami front!
Maybe when you have a moment you could discuss with Isabelle about setting up a French Language Group? Isabelle has managed to get a residential home involved!
Hello :) I will check again in the members section :) I can't tell you how happy we are about the warmer weather. We also had a couple of storms here. One was so bad, that it blew our internet router off the roof ;) Thanks for your response and have a great day.
"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
