Hi Christine, it  was so much fun to make this "Cracker"! I looked it up for you but unfortnately Brenda Smits has a version in Dutch only, which is a pity.

Have a lovely weekend, xoxo

Loving all these squares you knitted Christine, have you the patterns or did you just make them up as you went along.

HI Christine, were you able to hear Ronda's interview ?

Thanks for asking about our holiday. We had a lovely time in England....we always do :-)  The first few days were rainy but it didn't matter as we were chatting and catching up on the family news !  Once the weather cleared we were out and about.  One day we went with Dave's cousin and his children to Richmond castle.  The children are 8 and 6. They loved exploring a real castle.

Thank you Christine for your offer to be your friend. As I can see you are from Cumbria. I have been to UK several times, but unfortunately I don´t know where Cumbria is. Which part of UK is it?

Thanks so much Christine. It was so much fun to make this heart, and not really difficult, it looks more complicated than it is. xo

Well !  too bad.  But you are an experienced crocheter so you were able to make the adjustment.  Rachel, who wrote the pattern, uses the 6.5 hook so maybe I'll check with her about re-sizing the pattern.

Hi Christine, the puffed heart is fun to make.  I use the graph because I'm not good with the instructions.  I've played with the pattern and tend to use a 5.00 mm hook when using thinner yarns.  With the 6.5 mm hook and thicker yarns you will definitely have to check your gauge after a few rows [I had to take off a couple of stitches as the square 'grew'.  Though that could just be my crocheting !]

Hi Christine, hope you are keeping dry....though you must be if you are still here :-)  Saw a photo this morning taken at Parton.  What a wild storm you are having along the coast. The waves do look very impressive but I'm glad I'm not in that vehicle !!

Christine, this sounds like a good time to be indoors with your hook or needles !  I do hope the water stays in the garden.

We had a lot of snow [just over 13 cm/ 5 inches] last night which meant my husband was out this morning with the snowblower clearing the driveway so we could get the car out to pick up my Mom to bring her here for New Year's Day lunch.  We 're going to my sister's later this afternoon for a visit.

Hi Christine... how are you all doing today? We have that amazing horizontal rain here today (which reminds me of Whitehaven, lol!). I really hope the flood waters are still restricted to the garden and you're keeping warm and dry. x
