Sorry it took me so long to respond to your "friend" request. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I didn't even know where that area of "My Page" was until I stumbled onto it today! I appreciate it -- you're definitely my first friend from Nebraska! Hope the weather isn't too crazy out there - we had another four inches of snow last night. Just enough for a two-hour delay for the schools! Love that extra sleep!
Hello Jana, just a note to let you know that you posted another comment on Julia Dees Triple Blanket, but I'm sure you meant for another discussion! You mention your tote bag............ Hope you don't mind me dropping you a line. All the best for now, Pam
Jana you are not going to believe this cat rescue place in the USA...I got a picture filled email on it which I can't give to you here but this is their website...the guy has rescued, spayed and neutered 500 cats, keeps them on a tree farm and has built them all the cutest danged houses. It is something else to see! http://www.caboodleranch.com/About_Us.html I wish I could show you the pics, they are incredible, but it's good to hear he's not a "cat nut" but sincere about it.

You are a busy lady! Our pets are all rescues of one type or another. Our dog and two of the cats came from rescue agencies that bring pets intoa local store for people to see and adopt. The other cat used to belong to a friend of mine. She got evicted from her apartment and we didn't want her girls to lose their pet permanently so we took him in for what we thought would be a couple months till they got back on their feet. Well it has been 6 or 7 years now. Our kids are both adopted, so I guess you can say we are into adoption big time. Our kids are from South Korea. We live in the U.S. Where do you live? I am trying to figure out a good way to present this project to my church. I don't think there are many knitters, but they might want to help in some way. My friend Louise is already interested in it too, she wants to knit. If she gets her church involved that would be something. Her church is big, our is tiny. Have a great day. Nice to meet you.
Jana, Thank you for the help and the friend request. I didn't know about this Face book style communication. Your work is beautiful. I like your ID photo. Looks like you are another "cat person". We have 3 cats and a dog, a very energetic Jack Russel terrier. They all make us laugh and that is very good as our two kids both have severe special needs - autism and blindness/mental illness. Though they are grown now, it is harder than ever. Well I can see a have a lot of work to do. I will keep trying. By the way, I go by Susie.
"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
