Thank you so much Wendy. It had much fun making this blankie. And C2C works up quickly :)...the sooner the children will be wrapped in warm blankets, the better. xo
I am pleased that you are happy with the stitch. I will put a picture on for you. When it came to decreasing I knitted 1 st and then knitted 2tog on the first row to lose the extra stitch and it looks fine to me. KI will put a picture on for you to see it. I love your pattern and I am now knitting another one.
Hi Wendy, I was the same as you. I wanted a pattern that I could remember easy so I used the KAS simple beanie and adapted it. Today I am using your pattern but trying it with twisted rib:)
Hi Wendy!
Thank you for adding me to your friends and for posting the new hat pattern!
Ar the moment I am knitting a pair of hand warmers....but next I want to give your hat a try....
Hi Wendy, thanks for your kind comments on my squares. You are right, stitches included in the batch are, moss, slip stitch, oblique rib, honeycomb slip stitch, double Andalusian, waffle, block stitch, Zanny's and 4 row rib.
Hi Wendy - I see you are in sunny Goulburn. Im in Canberra so we are pretty much neighbours. Most of our fellow knitters are in snowy places this time of year. I would love some snow... or rain
Yes Wendy is is more economical. Because it is hard to close the bag I put in some Wool-Girl books which weigh 130g each and that takes advantage of the cheaper rate after 2kg. I might try 3kg next time or 3.5kg!! :)
Thanks Wendy, This yarn is from one of our local stores Wilkinsons. You name it you can buy it from there. Couldn't put it down as i kept doing another stripe
Thanks a million. Your positive feedback is greatly appreciated. Love your sweaters (especially the ribbed ones) and your checker board blanket designs. I like the flowers you've placed on some of your squares. That's one of things that I need to learn is how to make flowers and more decorative garment edgings. Happy knitting. Alicia

Thanks Wendy, for the info about the hat pattern. I must go take a gander at it. It sounds similar to one I do in crochet. All the best, Jeanne
