149 - Oh Boy!

Complete Blanket 149, titled 'Oh Boy!' As I think this one will be good for a boy. As usual colours don't really look right, the dark squares on each corner are actually a pretty shade of emerald green, much lighter than they look in the photo.

Checker Square

Square 11, the checker square from the 35 squares make a blanket pattern book. This one wasn't too hard to knit, but I feel a bit so so about the finished pattern, it is very subtle and doesn't show well in a photo.

Thank you so much Wendy. It had much fun making this blankie. And C2C works up quickly :)...the sooner the children will be wrapped in warm blankets, the better. xo

Hi Wendy,

I am pleased that you are happy with the stitch. I will put a picture on for you. When it came to decreasing I knitted 1 st and then knitted 2tog on the first row to lose the extra stitch and it looks fine to me. KI will put a picture on for you to see it. I love your pattern and I am now knitting another one.

Hi Wendy, I was the same as you. I wanted a pattern that I could remember easy so I used the KAS simple beanie and adapted it. Today I am using your pattern but trying it with twisted rib:)

Hi Wendy  - I see you are in sunny Goulburn.  Im in Canberra so we are pretty much neighbours.  Most of our fellow knitters are in snowy places this time of year.  I would love some snow... or rain
