Very proud of the group with the Gumnuts having surpassed our annual target set to the height of the Eiffel Tower = 1620 squares. We will blow it out of the water - by how much well that's going to…Continue

I wanted to update people and perhaps share some ideas about how a small group of knitters can make a big difference. After our teacosy extravaganza where we made over $300 for postage we are now…Continue

As I have been away in the USA on a family holiday, my precious group of Gumnuts has added another handful of members to the flock. I'm looking forward to returning and seeing where they are all at,…Continue
The Donate button provides 2 options:
Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).
3. Shop at the KasShop!

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.

Hi Sonja
When I tried to open it it would only let me put it into downloads first and then when I got it from there I couldn't find any button that would let me make a quarter rotation, only let me flip it sideways....and I think I clicked on every button I could find....lol. Those squares REALLY do look beaut...and sooooo many of them. You have done wonders in such a short space of time. WELL DONE!!!! The children will certainly appreciate your efforts and those of the Gumnuts come Winter time. :))
Sonja, glad KAS is able to help. Home with 3 young ones is definitely a test for one's sanity LOL I was a kindergarten teacher for many years [ages 3-5] and know how busy children can be!
We would love to have you more involved with the forum...when you have time :-)
Hi Sonja, I see that others have answered your question about the total number of squares. Thanks for catching the discrepancy. Linda
Oh, my dear, how I wish I could send you some xo
How true. We certainly are having some odd weather, aren't we ! Our temps have been way below normal. Snow all day yesterday and minus 18 last night. Yet on Monday coming, they're saying we will have rain and plus 10 degrees !!
Merry Christmas ! Taken of a salmon creek a block from our house.
Welcome Sonja from the UK. You can also catch-up with events and news through our monthly news bulletin KasSnippets : http://forum.knit-a-square.com/forum/categories/kas-snippets/listForCategory This will provide a taster of what happens during a KAS month!
