What a lovely compliment, thank you, Lucy.
I love knitting and crochet work - it's almost a form of therapy for me. Most of the knitting is very simple - fancy yarns help to make a plain garment look so much more interesting. When I do try a pattern it is usually a combination of knit and purl stitches - no cables or fancy lace work - too much concentration required for these !!
cheers - Jen xx
Welcome to our warm KAS community. It's great to see you. We hope you will enjoy the forum and your region's group. You should join the UK group.
There are lots of great discussions going on in the forum, including the monthly challenges.
We have a challenge every month, if you want to get involved please do. It's not compulsory at all but some of the work done is just lovely. Have a look at the November challenge - the SLIP-OVER (under challenges in the main forum) this will give you an idea of some of the fantastic work this community is doing for the children of South Africa. Here is a link to the November challenge photos:
"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
