I think the pictures of Sandy shows him as being quite compact but, in fact, he is rather a long and tall cat. When he is at his weightiest, in winter, he weighs around 5.7 kilos, a nice solid cat. Unfortunately, during fine weather, he spends a lot of time hunting and often eats whatever his catches and sometimes the junk he eats upsets his system, which in turn reduces him to bringing back a lot of what he has eaten, including his own food, hence a little loss of weight. He will learn one day, I hope! Angela x
