This blanket represents my favourite people - my family. I have 4 children (groups of 4 squares) and 9 grandchildren (9 different colours.)
Well I retired my crochet hook for Christmas eve, Christmas Day and today as there were/are just too many other things to do but my hands are itching to pick it up again and get going again! Is this normal I ask myself!!

Friends of mine have told me they have received a strange email from me. Some of the names they were sent to are from the forum. If you are one of these names please don't open it and delete it. I HAVE NOT SENT IT AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT.

A few months ago I put a notice in my church's newsletter asking people to make 8inch squares for KAS. To date I have received 720 squares which is great. This was picked up by the local radio station who rang and asked me if I would go on one of their shows to talk about it. How could I refuse to spread the word, even though I was a bit nervous about it? The interview was recorded on Thursday and today was the day it was broadcast and they are giving enquirers my details tomorrow. Who knows… Continue
Achieved mt personal goal

Yesterday I reached my own Table Mountain! Back in April when I started making squares I set myself a target of 10 blankets. I got so carried away with it they were soon done. What next I asked myself! Aim high I said to myself and added a nought. 100 blankets!! Well my house went to rack and ruin and off I went. I retired my crochet hook for Christmas eve, Christmas day and today as there were/are just too many other things that need doing and a houseful of people who need feeding but my hands are itching to pick it up again. Is this normal I ask myself!!

Hi Cath thank you for the welcome i come from Northwich it is a small town with black and white buildings until Chester west decided to re-vamp it we now have an ultra modern leisure center it is soooo ugly looks as if the star treck brigade decided to leave one of their space ships here and it has been dumped right in the middle of our tiny town center.it is green and black wondering if it would have looked better on an industrial estate.never mind thou there worse places than ours.regards Ann Marie.

I have just been looking at your latest selection of crocheted squares that Christine has posted in the April theme this morning......gorgeous!!!! My sister, Ros, is in absolute awe of your crocheting speed...as am I.
