Hi Ann
You're quite right - the list hasn't been updated for ages. There'll be a new one soon I expect but that has always seemed to present problems. There should be a new system in place soon which will speed things up but in the meantime we trust that the stuff has arrived as so far hardly anything has failed to reach its destination. It's always a good moment when we can see the new lists but I believe Jeanne said the other day that one is coming soon.

Hi Ann

It takes time to get used to but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it very soon. Look forward to chatting to you soon!

Cheers x x x

Hello Ann and welcome to our KAS community.

Congratulations on being our 1000th member!

Thank you for joining the KAS community and for your contributions to the orphaned and vulnerable children, we are seeking to help.

We invite you to check out the forum guidelines. They will give you a good idea of how to get the best out of being a member

Please pop into the main forum and introduce yourself.

Here, for example, is a post that will touch your heart and so aptly describes why the work we do for the children means so much:

You may also like to start you own personal blog in which you can post your news, views and family stories and photos.

We run a challenge each month. This month it is ‘Make it in May' and we would love you to participate, especially knowing that whatever you make will soon benefit one of our children.

Don't forget to post photographs of your work, either in the challenge month, or in your personal blogs as well as in the photos section of the forum. We have an awesome gallery of the work the KAS community is doing in photos, which is really inspiring.

Did you receive the latest ezine? If not you can view it here: Follow the blog: for a different perspective on why we need to look out for these children. Finally, if you want precise details about the project, visit

If you have any problems using the forum, please don't hesitate to contact your friendly moderators, listed below. Happy knitting/crocheting! Chat soon.

Hi Anne and welcome to the forum. Lovely to see another Scot with us. Do you knit or crochet or both?
I know you have only just joined and may take a while to find your way round but please consider joinging the UK and Stich for Scotland groups when you get the chance. Local groups can be great for sharing local resources, ideas and cheerleading.
Best wishes

The Donate button provides 2 options:

  1. One time donation
  2. Monthly subscription               [click the box]

Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more].  Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees.  Thank you!

Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:

1. Make a donation whenever you are able.

2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).

3. Shop at the KasShop!

Please follow this discussion for monthly updates, current financial reports and ideas on what we can all do to help. Click link :
