This is the intermediate stage of my wild and wooly yarn snarl! I unraveled it, mostly while listening to my son practice for "Battle of the Bands" and here's what I found: six unfinished squares (one of which has temporarily disappeared), and eight skeins of wool yarn (plus some dwarf planets). The rest of my February project will be to finish the squares and the hat (my early overgrown hat project, previously titled "The Ottoman Cover"-- I"m thinking beret!)

Ladies, your wonderful support keeps me going!  On to finishing the UFO's (which is your excellent term, I believe, Jeanne)!!!

She's done it!!! High fives Donna. I salute you madam for never having resorted to scissors which I have done before this. :D  I agree, that "ex-ottoman" cover would make a beautiful beret, simply super. All it looks like it would need is to be gathered around the edge and have a "cuff"/brim on it.  Heck, I'd wear it in a split second, somebody is going to love it. I agree with Rachel..."dwarf planets" is a super term, I have now adopted it as I possess some dwarf planets myself.  So encouraging to see your progress and I love that variegated yarn in that square 3 from the left. I believe I just used up some of that turquoise yarn on the left.
