Wheel Spoke Squares Blanket in red, green and purple

Wheel Spoke Squares Blanket in red, green and purple. I have so many bits and pieces of yarn that (again!) I could crochet tricolor circles in the wheel spoke squares. I love the pattern. The weather as well as the camera said NO to the real colours of the blanket, they are much more vibrant in hue.
The Wheel Spoke Square was designed by Linda Maltby and is available in the KAS pattern book: http://www.forum.knit-a-square.com/page/free-crochet-patterns-squares

You have gifted KAS with an amazing blanket Anneke.  I am so impressed every time I see your perfectly crafted work.

This is a great use of those little Bobs and Bits, while you have used the Wheel Spoke pattern to perfection.

Well done.

Bev and Karen, thank you so much! Yes Bev, it is a wonderful pattern, when I see all the tiny balls of yarn in my stash I can't stop making tricolored wheel spoke circles! In my imagination I see a child touching all the circles and "count" the number of colors.

Absolutely STUNNING, Anneke!!!

This pattern is one I have loved and admired for a very long time and is the perfect choice for this beautiful blanket. LOVING all the different coloured centres....and the colours look vibrant to me.

Some little one will be delighted to receive this beauty.  :))
