Great idea! I didn't go into the shop when I saw the notice that you have to pay $3.75 US for each package so just saw this now, but I was compelled to donate $12 US to make up for what you've had to pay to receive my packages. I'm now happy that my slowness getting items shipped actually works out fine... :-) I had to argue at the post office to make them let me state 1 NOK value (0.10 US$), they refused to accept my package when I wrote 0,- They said the package would just be returned to me, as people from the shipping office had refused to ship 0 value packets saying "Nothing is without value, if it was then nobody would ship it". And this was in Norway, where in my eyes people are not in the habit of being quarrel-y. I can imagine others KAS crafters go through similar or worse debates over this when they try to state 0 or 1 value on their packages!
Just perfect Andrea! Love the design and the way you have set up this shop item. Money is a "delicate" subject, this new shop item brings awareness of how difficult the financial situation is.
So true Jeanne!
Excellent idea, as is the "buy an ingredient for our virtual fruitcake" appeal. It all helps costs. :D
The Donate button provides 2 options:
Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).
3. Shop at the KasShop!
