Jeanne - To get rid of the curls - just pull on the loose loops and the project will stop rolling as for the grip on the hook it was a rubber band project on made on the long loom ( I LOVE it ) because I wanted a kids project (pencil grip ) and because the Knifty Knitter hook is too thin...For post with a video tutorial Click HERE
It looks very nice and very flat too. Mine have a tendency to curl, what stitch were you using Denise? I love your hook cover, it's very cheery, must be encouraging to use.
