154 - One Fine Day
Blanket 154 Titled "One Fine Day". No imagination on this one for me, it was what the yarn was called on the band. I think it is apt though as the colours are turquoise, aqua and cream. Like waves on the ocean on a fine day. I think this one would be good for a boy. Single piece crochet in this one.

I think I have a cake or two of "ice cream' in my stash (the name sounds familiar), but not in those colours and I haven't used any yet. :))
Good luck with Spotlight. I went to our closest one a couple of weeks back and was disappointed as they usually have 'bins' of one-off factory ends in different colours and variegateds.....not so this time.

Hi Bev, this yarn is called "Ice Cream". It came from a discount store here. It is very similar to the Caron Cakes yarn (I used a 4.5mm Crochet hook for this as it is thicker than most 8 ply yarns). I no longer buy yarn from Big W, their colour selection now is very poor and they don't have variegated yarn at all. Lucky for me there is now a Spotlight store at Mittagong and we are often down that way for my Mum to see an eye specialist.
