I loved Kathy's 'granny' hex and had to have a go.It's now my favourite but taking Jeanne's point about warmth I had another go at a much thicker version. The one at the back is made from oddments of Robin Picasso Chunky and is very sturdy.
The first one acquired its flowers plus an extra as a buttonhole.

Those are amazing! I think you did a great job and they will definitely keep the little ones warm. :o)
Lovely work Christine... love the colours and the flowers on the blue version.
Christine I think YOUR Granny hex sweater came out lovely...maybe it's just me who is cursed with gappy grannies, I dunno. I think that sweater will keep a child lovely and warm. I do love that browns one behind it, wow it's something else. I don't know what sizes these are but any child would love that and it would keep them so warm in winter which is just a few months away now. The flowers look perfect, and the buttonhole one "is the bee's knees" as my gran would have said.
Beautiful! Love the addition of the flowers...a great finishing touch. Really love the colours in the one on the left, too and the neckline is so sweet. The one at the back looks so warm and cozy and the colours very nice. love the toggle on it. All in all a GREAT collection.
