I decided against redoing the bottom section as I am not confident that I could actually do it better so I'm leaving this alone, flaws and all and having another go on another using thicker yarn. Not sure yet whether to over-egg the pudding by adding flowery efforts which I made as an attempt to cover gaps. It's actually lilacs and fuchsia pink but my camera doesn't do mauves.

Yep, this looks great, not too gappy at all hon, don't worry.  It looks great!  Lilac and fuschia? Well it looks great in blue and pink too, lol.  The cute little flowers would look great on it, do add them, maybe on the right front?  Well done, I have a feeling my first efforts won't be close, but we'll live in hope eh?

Love the colour combo Christine - so vibrant and happy looking (if you know what I mean).

Love it Christine, lovely colours and nice and warm looking.  I think mine looks a little sad compared to yours and the other lovely ones.  Add the flowers, they are gorgeous and will look so happy and friendly! xx

Please do add the flowers and then take another pic of the re-finished product. This is delightful and the colours are perfect. Even if you just pinned the flowers on so we can see the idea, I'd really appreciate it.
