Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.......
The buttons are very special to me, I took them out of my Mum's "Button Box". The box is at least 70 years old and I even found buttons in there dating back to my childhood! I recognised them from dresses and blouses I had :)). I am sure she should have fully agreed to please the vulnarable children by using her buttons, serving as Christmas Tree Lighting and as a symbol of light.

Everything about this square is wonderful ... starting with the idea to use the multicolor yarn for the tree!  Looks like the lights and ornaments are already on it ... the garland crisscrossing, anchored by the heirloom buttons, the background colors, the furry trim.... you've got it all!  Beautiful in every way.

Oh Anneke, how wonderful!  It is such a beautiful tree and what a wonderful blessing, to use some of those treasured buttons!  Much love in this square, to be shared with a child!

I adore this beautiful, colorful tree with the very special "lights!"  This will be a "happy" spot in a blanket for sure!
