Hot air balloon Mark II. I created one on a knitting chart that looked fine, but when I had sewn about half of it on (according to my chart) to my square I realised it was going to look like a flying saucer with a basket underneath...lol, so I undid it all and just did it without a chart....hopefully it looks a little better.
Well finally I just have to sew one more motif on a square that I knitted this morning...but I best cook tea instead or some people won't be happy...lol.

Love this!  Went on a hot air balloon ride on a visit to Anaheim California a few years ago. I most remember how quiet and peaceful it felt.

When I saw this on the photo page as a thumbnail I went "Hot Air Balloon!" so you succeeded.  It's one thing I've always wanted to try and just west of us are flat prairies, perfect for this on a summer day.  I have to admit though that a flying saucer would also be transportation eh?  ;)
