Happy child, happy us.

This is what keeps us knitting and crocheting. That smile makes everything worthwhile.

I think that all of our "drops" have by now made a very small "splash" - when you think how many children have been warmed since KAS started.  There are so many needing help I know but between us we are making a difference.  Thanks for the pics Gitta - always a joy to see.

a true Smile straight from the heart of God! This makes it all worth it!

Lovely!  It may be one drop in the vast ocean of need, Gitta, but this droplet has, in its unique way, changed this child's life for better. Each stitch, each row is an earnest prayer it will become a torrent.   Bless you for sharing these with us xoxoxo

Lovely to see a happy, smiling child who has received something that was much needed.  I love the bright colours and patterns in this blanket too.  I just LOVE to see photo's of the children with the blankets too, it is really gratifying to 'see' how we are all helping.

The children absolutely loved the KAS blankets :) Sue, every little bit helps, but I agree sometimes it seems like it is only a drop in the ocean :)

This has been a great distribution and pride for the childre earning their blankets. I saw that they have already run out of blankets at the recycling centre. Are we likely to do this again? It is such a worthwhile cause. I suppose that's silly beacause aren't they all a worthwhile cause !!!!

How great is it to be able to bring such a smile to a forgotten child's face?  (forgotten by the news media I mean)  Looks like he got some food too.  I love that mini block square of flowers, kudos to whoever did it!
