Had been working with these colours for a few weeks (new to crochet, so going slowly), but wondering if they were a bit pale for KAS - aware of the difficulty of keeping things clean - when I saw the November theme - serendipity! Look better in real life, the camera has bleached out the pale pink and cream - any tips on photography gratefully received!

Lesley, these are just perfect. One would never tell that you are new to crochet. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Linda
Well done Lesley ! Pretty colour combination. You're doing very well with crochet.
I'll add the photo to the Pretty Pastels discussion for you.

Thanks Sharon - still a long way to go and I really want to start on so many other projects, so the encouragement here is helping to keep me on task!
Thank you so much for your comments. Bev, yes I've looked at the 'blanket room' and found it very reassuring!
I've also been delighted with the colours and the way they've come together - the ladies in the wool shop and I spent a long time trying to decide what 'worked', but I still wasn't sure until I got started. Ridiculously pleased with my new-found skill!
P.s. LOVING the colours in your squares. :))
These are indeed perfect, Lesley........your crocheting is coming along soooooo well.
I understand your concern re keeping the lighter colours clean, but Ronda (at KAS SA) has never asked us not to include pale colours and as I think they add a little 'light relief' to darker and brighter colours, I imagine it is ok. Have you checked out the completed blankets in the 'blanket room' discussion? Here is the link
