Finally I finished this blanket for the February Theme "Celebrate Africa". I thought about the colours of the African soil, the beautiful colors of the sea and lakes, the woods and the sun. Finished it off with a dark brown edging.

Absolutely fabulous blanket Anneke. Love the colours and warmth:))
Your blanket of African colors is magnificent. I can feel the love you put into it. And so will the child that wraps themself into it.
Absolutely beautiful Anneke! Gorgeous colours and the border around the outside finishes it off beautifully.
Oh Anneke wondermooi! Hoe krijg je het voorelkaar! Zo netjes en prachtig! ...........
This is a gorgeous blanket, Anneke. I've missed seeing your work over the last few months.
A beautiful blanket, Anneke, the colours are gorgeous, and really fit the theme. I'd love to know how you make the edge - mine are always rather untidy!
A child wearing this blanket is going to feel like a million dollars Anneke!
Thank you so much Christine! What self-patterning yarn can do! .....and a little bit of a "pink" background for Bev....:)))
