After doing several bicycles, I wanted to branch out a little. The wonders of modern technology came to help. My youngest son has a Peruvian girlfriend whose Mum does a lot of cross stitch embroidery for charity. She wondered if cross stitch patterns could be knitted, so she sent me an e-file with some of her amazing transport embroidery patterns. Result:here the first one, knitted in Scotland, design from South America, for KAS in South Africa! I'm hoping to tackle some others before the end of this challenge month.

Wow! What a beauty, Ilse.......LOVE the colours you have used....and the car is soooooo cute.
This is awesome. I have often thought that cross stitch patterns would easily translate to knitting for someone talented in it. Way to go. I love this!
