They are bigger squares...I had a couple left over from a project of about 20 years ago....been in the knitting pile all that time, so decided to knit another 18 to complete a blanket as they were the wrong size to send KAS on their own.

Nothing wrong with 10" squares by the way, it would bring the blanket closer to our usual 7x5 eight inch squares in blanket size. :)

Very nice blanket indeed Susanne...are the squares 8 inches or 10 inches across? They look large for some reason. Every square is certainly interesting and will fascinate a child.
