African Animals-August Challenge
Thankfully, once again Kym has provided me with a bright and beautiful needle-felted elephant to liven up my otherwise dull charcoal-grey square. He even has a cute little flappy ear.

Thanks Bev, I actually have an embellisher which needlefelts but I work too quickly and go through too many needles....I must try the little hand held one.

This elephant is needle felted, Janette. My friend, Kym taught herself to do this craft using this YouTube tutorial.Needlefelting with Debbie Shore. I have a few more for this challenge, I just need to knit the squares to put them on.

How beautiful! I was thinking that adding felt shapes to the squares I am making would be a fun and easy way to jazz them up a little (although I havn't tried this yet) this is very inspiring to see and I think the grey background really makes it stand out! A great job! :o)
