Way to go Wendy, what an awesome square, so alive with colors and patterns...and extra warm due to the double layer in the center...and those cute buttons. Super idea and a superb square!

Oh my a new concept, when this is made up into a quilt it will in effect be a quilt within a quilt .. well done , clever idea.. and a beautiful edging with the variegated wool really sets this off.
