These are knitted with 'Jazz' yarn and are definitely adult size...they fit my head...quite loosely. Unfortunately the motley blue one's colours are much more subtle and blended than they appear in this photo...the colours are a little darker and richer....I am no photographer...whatever the setting!!

I just wanted to say a rather belated THANK YOU for everyone's comments and words of encouragement...didn't mean to be so rude as to not acknowledge them before, I have simply been so amazed and in awe of the level of creativity and quantity of items that have been in the photo section and the number of new members to our forum of late. I am just so proud to be a part of this wonderful Family. xx

Lovely furry hats,Bev-I too have lots of similar yarn from previous scarf knitting binges so I must try using them in hats, they will be lovely and warm

Lovely Bev!  Such a fun looking yarn, in both colour and texture. I know what you mean about colours not looking the same in a photo too, I have the same problem!

I just love your hats Bev. These yarns are a little easier to use on a loom and come up just great.

Thank you for the encouraging words, Christine, Jeanne and Kathy. x

They are a fun yarn to knit with...until you drop a stitch....they are very slippery and one can fall off the needle quite easily if you are not concentrating  Then trying to find the stitch in all that fluff is sooo challenging. I have bought so much of it lately during sales, that I will just have to like or lump it!!

I hear you about the time delay with digital cameras, Jeanne. Try taking a photo of a lively 3 year old  (I work in childcare with 3-5 yr. olds) to document what he/she is the time the camera decides to click the child is off doing something else! Very frustrating!!

oh how these made me smile Bev - gorgeous!! The red hat looks like a fluffy ladybird (minus spots) and the multi hat looks like an exotic bird - soooooo much fun, absolutely love them xx

Great hats, talk about lively and funky!  I hear you about cameras Bev, I'm no genius with them either. In fact since society switched to digital I haven't bought them.  I like to click and take a picture, not wait 5 minutes for the friggin camera to focus and make up it's mind to click! :P  So if I take a pic it's with my daughter's camera. :)  I've never used Jazz yarn but there's other similar ones here, rather soft and slippery to use so bravo for your tenaciousness in sticking with it. I tend to use these for trims only.  Yeah, big chicken me, lol.

Well done for persisting with those yarns - they're very hard on the  hands but the results are very attractive and will look great.
