This is my contribution to the Teddy Bears Picnic theme. I've used a lovely teddy bear coloured chunky yarn (which I had a lot of), knit on the diagonal for an alternating checkboard pattern base. I came across the beige/cream/blue wool which provided inspiration for muted tones to set the mood for the rest of the squares.
