Loom knitting has it's own pros and cons. Many special and unique methods of accomplishing what needle knitters do and so we need each other. I hope to meet many other loom knitters here but anyone is welcome.

Your video included in your pattern on how to do several types of knit stitch, and how to purl, is brilliantly clear and easy to follow because it is in close-up, thank you very much for that.
Just so that all the stuff on loom knitting is available in one place, here are the links to the three videos I did for KAS. The main message is how quick loom knitting is, and how thick, warm and stretchy loom knit squares are. Loom knitting is a great way to produce basic squares very fast if you are pressed for time.

I've been working on the pattern now for 2 weeks hope to have it before this weekend is over. About another 30 hours more or less.
