Thanks Susanne, will see what I can do with my parcel this week,
Thank you Susanne for this wonderful information. It explains to much as to the current situation.
I will be including this in the July Snips.
Hello fellow Aussies. I was able to post a large parcel to KAS today ( July 22. Initially the PO computer wouldn’t accept it so the manager made a phone call to the Parcel Post hotline and verified that the budget no tracking seamail is the only Parcel Post affected. The more expensive Standard seamail parcel post is available to send. My cost went up $30 from $110 to $140. I elected to send it as I am already filling another large bag. There was no problem with sending at this rate. Apparently there is a huge backlog of the cheaper parcels awaiting departure to SA hence the temporary ban on accepting further budget seamail
Thanks Amy, will be interested to see what the problem is.
I have several people looking into this at the moment. In South Africa and Australia. Hope to have an update for you all very soon.
Oh wow, Wendy!!! That is not good news. We are away at the moment, but was hoping to get some posted when I got back/had a chance. :((
Bad news re posting to South Africa. I went to the post office today (7th July 2022), and they said South Africa is currently not accepting any mail, so I wasn't able to post my parcel.
The May issue of KAS Snippets is on the Forum and the headline is that we can now send parcels to South Africa.

Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
