Don't forget that Creative Stitches and Hobby Crafts will be at the SECC at the end of October. There are usually a good number of yarn stalls selling from the wonderfully expensive alpaca and hand dyed yarns to budget cheap stuff in crazy colours to suit any need and pocket.

Hi Susan, What a terrible shock the news about your partner must be.  We'll keep you and your partner in our thoughts.  Please keep in touch with us via our fb page or blog if you would like some online craft buddies during this difficult time.  Take care of yourself. x

Hi, My name is Susan and I have just joined this group, I was looking for a local group if possible. I live in Ballingry Fife. Last November I was diagnosed with crohn's disease, I then decided to knit for various charities doing wee preemie hats, cardigans, scarfs, blankets etc. I would love to meet up with locals have a coffee and cake and knit of course. I have been knitting for 50 yrs so you can say that I am experienced, I love knitting aran also children and adults. Anyone want to contact me do not hesitate I am a good listener. Take care, Susan x

Hopping in to say that if any KASers in Edinburgh are free this friday at 11am Granny Greens is organising a photo call at Grayfriars Bobby on George IV Bridge. It would be cool to have people knitting in front of Bobby (or crocheting!) I have also made Bobby a mini orphan blanket so he can stand in solidarity with the South African orphans.

I have seen your squares and they are never boring - completely the opposite!  I am a long-standing fan of your very creative use of colour and pattern to produce such appealing  results.
