I would like to tell you of my best bargain. This little (but well stocked) wool shop always has a great range of yarns. They do follow fashions and as a result, there are always some oof 'last seasons' yarns on the sale rail - nice and cheap. Marjory also sells lovely balls of DK in bright, pastel, dark, and muted tones for £1.50 a 100g ball or 5 for £5. I have never yet bought only 1 or 2 balls at a time. Where else could you knit a childs jumper for £2, and of course the colours are fab for our squares too.

Sorry Margaret,I don't know. It is quite a big one near me though. The yarns are at the stationery, party godds type area.

Thursday, friday, saturday and sunday.

Lots of inspiration and supplies for all of your crafting needs including knitting and crochet. I have booked a day off work on the Thursday. My mom, sister and I all hope to go and grab a few bargains.

Sounds good. You must have a great wool stash.  Unfortunately Glasgow to far for me to go and buy wool.

B&M stores have plenty of cheap yarns too. limited range of DK colours and a few different types of chunky and arran type yarns. Good to pad out a stash.

Online store Abakhan has a great sale at the moment. I bought a heap of new yarns at 'sale' price in their 'clearance' section and spent just over £50 to get their free p&p. Oops - guess my stash is back again and just when I had been so good too.
