Welcome all to 2023!

The first edition of KAS Snippets is live on the Forum and Gloria has provided us with so much information;  fundraising for posting your parcels, tracking the activity in The Barn form receiving parcels to sending out blankets, mailing updates from the UK, 2022 year end financial information, KAS Shop items and so much more.

Andrea has once again outdone herself creating this amazing masthead featuring a row from Wendy's blanket titled Summer Fun. Summer Fun is Wendy's 166 completed blanket for KAS.  Amazing! This is for our new theme we are running every other month, "What's On Your Hooks and Needles"

As our 2023 is coming to a close,  Gloria has done a marvelous job bringing all the Bits and Pieces of the entire year together in one colorful edition of KAS Snippets.

In this issue you will find messages from our volunteers and moderators.  Moving photos from recent distributions. A colorful collection of blankets from the Blanket Room and more.

There is a Christmas Ornament From the Past challenge you might want to participate in, as well as Anne's touching Christmas poem.

Many thanks to each and everyone of you for supporting KAS through your crafts and donations in 2022.  You are changing young lives everyday.

Happy Holidays and wishing you a very joyous New Year.

Thank you so much for keeping us in the loop in regards to mail from Australia.

Comment by Wendy on August 1, 2022 at 11:31pm

I was able to send a parcel today (1st August). Sent it by 'Standard' mail which should hopefully be quicker than Seamail (I think it goes Airmail part of the way). Hoping it will arrive soon!
