IMPORTANT NOTE RE: THE NAVY BLUE SCARF PROJECT
This is a really important project for KAS and will benefit the cold school children.
Here's the Link to the Blue Scarf Project discussion. You will find all the details about scarf requirements and WHY we are doing this in the introduction
http://forum.knit-a-square.com/forum/topics/special-report-the-navy...
Pam is doing a "Totaliser" in the intro, so once a month when we hear from Ronda how many scarves have arrived, Pam will update it For every 10 scarves she will use a scarf symbol. Every time we reach 50, she will post a school bus.
The current number of scarves to arrive is 44 - we are close to getting our first bus!
The benefit KAS receives in having their mail picked up and delivered to the offices by the pharmaceutical company and in addition the monetary help in rent money are both real advantages for KAS. In return, we need to get on board and support KAS by making and donating the navy scarves
Please post photos of your scarves in the discussion and in Photos - we have an album started

Sorry - the link should be: www.galaxyhotchocolate.com/fund/knit-for-life
Hi everyone. In the UK, Pam Johnson and I are trying to win £300 to buy wool so our knitters can make loads of squares. We are also hoping, if successful, to send some out to South Africa. All that's needed is enough votes to win each week in a poll set up by the company Mars. The link is: www.galaxyhotchocolate/fund/knit-forlife Anyone can vote from anywhere in the world - it just takes a couple of clicks on the mouse. Knit for Life is our UK registered charity, supporting KAS and raising funds to pay the shipping costs. Please help if you can. Thank you.
The Donate button provides 2 options:
Because of PayPal/banking fees, KAS asks that your donation be 5USD [or more]. Anything less, means your donation is eaten up with fees. Thank you!
Our goal is to remove the monthly deficit that Ronda and her team have to deal with. You can:
1. Make a donation whenever you are able.
2. Sign up for an ongoing monthly donation (subscription).
3. Shop at the KasShop!
Please follow this discussion for monthly updates, current financial reports and ideas on what we can all do to help. Click link :

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
