WI (Women's Institute) Report!

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to show you all a report that was featured in my mum's local WI magazine.

They didn't get the details completely correct (KasKare for one), but as you can read, mum has been spreading the word among her local WI group who, in turn, have been generously donating wool.

And here, again, is the granny-square blanket featured in the photo above:

It's beautifully bright and crocheted with a small hook, so it feels very thick and warm. It's on its way to South Africa and hopefully the article will spark some interest and encourage people to look out for KAS.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this news with us.  This blanket is absolutely amazing.  My hope is that you all continue to get yarn donations for more beautiful blankets.  Thanks to both of you for all your contributions to KAS.
