What's on your needles and hooks this month?

As we welcome the change of month and season, will your
colours /patterns/textures/appliques/embellishments reflect this, I wonder?
Will it be a month of completing projects....new yarn.....new patterns....new design ideas....or  something from yarn that has been lingering in your basket/bag?

The colour of the month is GREEN
Glorious green that makes me think of the new shoots of grass when our rains come (southern hemisphere) or the new branches/leaves sprouting on plants/trees and bulbs to herald the arrival of Spring (northern hemisphere).
Looking forward to seeing as many shades as possible.
Of course, not forgetting that March 17th is St. Patrick's Day
.......so what ya'  waiting for? Get your green on.....hahaha....and please share your crafting with us, because YOU are an inspiration!

Another unique creation from you Sharon.   It's vvvery nice!

Sharon, this is a beauty.  TC makes an incredibly warm blanket.  I'm imagining a precious little one snuggled into this gem ... and smiling ... xo

I agree Patricia. I love the What’s on months. Gives us time to catch up and try new things.

Love your yarn Chris.
My favourite yarn store is closing down in May.

Pat, it’s never a good thing when a favourite yarn store closes down! I was in Canada last Summer, and Gloria introduced me to Michael’s, there was so much choice with great prices and I was lucky to find lovely yarn in clearance :)

I hope you have somewhere else to feed your stash that’s not too far away.

Wow!! The solid colours that you chose to complement the others have really made the blanket pop. The bright yellow border was an inspired choice. LOVE this blanket, Sharon!!

Glad you like it, Bev.   This border is the 2nd one.   The first I tried was a sage green, and I just didn't like it when it was done.   Looked at it for a couple days, hoping it would grow on me, and finally took it out and reworked it with bright yellow.   Much happier with this color choice.

Hahaha, don't you just hate it when yarn choices just won't 'grow on you'?

My closest Yarn Store will have to be Michaels. Unfortunately it’s 160 kms from me. !!!

I guess I will be doing a ton of stash busting which believe me will take forever . Lots of

stripes in my agenda.

Patricia, I'm sorry to hear that your local yarn shop is closing.   I hope you don't fall into the trap that I'm in  - online yarn shopping!   IT's wonderful and horrible all at the same time.   So many colors available online that never appeared in my local stores, and sales offers in your Inbox nearly every day.   My will power is severely strained.

A collection of hats I was asked to make as a small project for Ronda.   Different tones of green and black knit double strand in K2P2 rib with turn-up brims for versatility.

This is one marvelous collection of hats for Ronda's special project! They all look so thick and extra warm.

Thank you!

Well done Karen, an amazing number!
