What's on your needles and hooks this month?

As we welcome the change of month and season, will your
colours /patterns/textures/appliques/embellishments reflect this, I wonder?
Will it be a month of completing projects....new yarn.....new patterns....new design ideas....or  something from yarn that has been lingering in your basket/bag?

The colour of the month is GREEN
Glorious green that makes me think of the new shoots of grass when our rains come (southern hemisphere) or the new branches/leaves sprouting on plants/trees and bulbs to herald the arrival of Spring (northern hemisphere).
Looking forward to seeing as many shades as possible.
Of course, not forgetting that March 17th is St. Patrick's Day
.......so what ya'  waiting for? Get your green on.....hahaha....and please share your crafting with us, because YOU are an inspiration!

I completed my blanket, but annoyingly the camera isn’t showing the true colours unless I’m close up!

Aw, that is SO pretty, Chris!! The colourways worked up really well.

Thanks for the close up......the colours are gorgeous!!

Lovely, Chris. I hope this means your wrist problem has eased.

Another winner Chris!

I so love seeing your work on these pages.

My little Jess still quietly lies on each blanket I have made when I’m taking a photo, usually when I’m checking the photo I’ve taken, I look back, and there she is….

Aw, what a precious photo, Chris!!!

I love the way she sits there, so demurely.....a true little lady, who shows great appreciation for your crafting.  :))

She'd have to be quite an acrobat in my house, Chris, as I like to hang my blankets on the washing line to photograph!

Love the colours Chris. You have a lovely selection of variegated yarns.

Thank you Pat. When I see variegated yarn at a reasonable price, I stock up, usually enough for more than one blanket, so you’ll see the same yarn more than once! We have a budget supermarket in the UK called Aldi’s, and they regularly have beautiful variegated colours on sale.

When we knew that Covid was going to cause shortages, before lockdowns started, many people were panic buying toilet rolls, I was in Aldi’s and saw people with trolleys piled high. When I got to the checkout, my trolley was full of variegated yarn that I hadn’t seen before…… I still have plenty! :)

What's on your needles and hooks in March 2023

Finished these on 16/3 and was going to post them for St. Patrick's Day...I forgot.....but it should still be the 17th in some part of the world. :))
Happy St. Pat's Day for those who celebrate it.

Oh Bev, I love this colour, and it looks great in this pattern :)

Perfect for St. Patrick's Day or any day.

I am liking this pattern.
