What's on your needles and hooks this month?

As we welcome the change of month and season, will your
colours /patterns/textures/appliques/embellishments reflect this, I wonder?
Will it be a month of completing projects....new yarn.....new patterns....new design ideas....or  something from yarn that has been lingering in your basket/bag?

The colour of the month is GREEN
Glorious green that makes me think of the new shoots of grass when our rains come (southern hemisphere) or the new branches/leaves sprouting on plants/trees and bulbs to herald the arrival of Spring (northern hemisphere).
Looking forward to seeing as many shades as possible.
Of course, not forgetting that March 17th is St. Patrick's Day
.......so what ya'  waiting for? Get your green on.....hahaha....and please share your crafting with us, because YOU are an inspiration!

Ohh, Ahh.   A beautiful square and a mystery, too, plus a soundtrack.   Now you've really got us thinking, Patricia.   How fun!

I thought I was too young to know this artist (lol) but turns out I have heard some of the songs X

Lovely start to your project Patricia ✔️

I only discovered Tom Petty through the Travelling Wilburys so I was a fair age by then. Do you remember them?

Lovely colours in this blanket!

And hey I love Tom Petty and the heartbreakers!

Have a lot of cds by them!Good music and lovely yarn:-))

You have very good taste in music for a such a youngster, Rachel!

Good choice of music, Patricia!!

LOVE what you have on your hook at the moment........very intrigued to see the finished blanket (yes, there is pressure there.....hahaha) and hear the story.  :))

I love the colours and the pattern :)

I bet it will be a month of new green yarn. That’s a great choice Bev as we’re short of green squares at the moment.

Putting a package together to post later this week.  Here are two blankets that are heading to SA.

Oh my Amy these are superb and both so neat!   I especially like the tones in the left one.   It is a really unique design.   I see the silver green turquoise I'm using now in the middle of the right blanket.   Amazed as I've not seen anyone else use it.   Happy coincidence we've used it at similar times ✔️

The blanket on the left looks particularly African to me, Amy, and the one on the right is a super stash buster.

Thanks ladies.

Yes, the one on the left using clearance yarn reminds me of so many animals in Africa.

Karen, I love it we people from different parts of the world are using the same yarn.  Just shows you how small the world really is.

Hope to see them wrapped around a child this coming winter.
