This month we embrace all the things that come are under the African sky.
Children...
Land...
Monuments...
People...
...and the Animals.
Now is the time to be creative with flags, animals, beadwork designs, instruments, cloth, housing styles and so much more from the continent of Africa.
Let us celebrate together, all that Africa has to show the world, and wrap the children in a warm cozy blanket.

Bright and Beautiful Sharon.
Sharon, your blanket looks so smart! I love your big yellow flower in the middle as well as those ones in the cornerns. You used beautiful colours too.
An absolute STUNNER, Sharon!! I love all the images you have worked into this design, especially the unintentional ones, like the mountains/pyramids. :))
Once again, I am intrigued by your colour selection...you certainly have a flair for it....these all go together soooo well. :))
SHARON this blanket is sssso cheery I love it. Yellow flowers are my favourites. Th U x
How precious. What a treasure, Amy.
It’s absolutely gorgeous Amy I’m always amazed how much thought and love goes into the creations ALL our members send us. Thank you.
A great intro Amy, and some wonderful African inspired contributions already!
Your beautifully crafted elephant is very cute and looks great in this gorgeous blanket :)) He will be treasured I’m sure.
What a fabulous blanket! The awesome background was an inspired choice -- you clever girl, you! But also loving the hearts on the borders.
We must be reading the same topics online because I found this recently, too, and knew it was just right for KAS. So your little elephant will have a playmate soon (I hope), but sadly my little guy won't have such a cheerful playground. I'll do what I can to come up to your creative level.
Background is the Red Heart Retro yarn. Makes everything cheerful.
I CAN'T wait to see yours!!
Amy, I love your blanket very much! A little elephant is so cute!
Such a BEAUTIFUL creation, Amy!! What a sweet little elephant.....and the background is gorgeous!!
I LOVE the heart panels, they just finish it all off and add another element of sweetness to the blanket.
