This month we embrace all the things that come are under the African sky.
...and the Animals.
Now is the time to be creative with flags, animals, beadwork designs, instruments, cloth, housing styles and so much more from the continent of Africa.
Let us celebrate together, all that Africa has to show the world, and wrap the children in a warm cozy blanket.
Absolutely stunning Karla you certainly have a way with picture squares….LOVE it!
Thank you Estelle. I love making them very much.
I'm trying to make a clearance this year too, Amy. I think I started the year with more yarn in the house than I've ever had so it's time to be ruthless and use up all those bits I was saving "just in case". Beautiful neons.
I have got some neon too but I´m going to use it in June Theme.
Zipperty-doo-dah, these squares are superb and they'll certainly liven up a blanket! ✔️
Wow!! They'll sure make a blanket POP, Amy. :))
I agree with Karen. These beautiful squares certainly liven up a blanket.
Love the neon yellow Amy it goes with so many colours.
Wowie, Ka-powie. There have been so many bright, lively squares and blankets that I hardly know where to start!
I have been away from the computer for awhile, and I'm so happy to see all the wonderful things that showed up here in my absence. Don't you hate it when life interferes with yarn?
I finally finished my little elephant and butterfly blanket (meanwhile Amy had made another stunning elephant blanket!), and I took a cue from Susanne Leverton and made a Clever Hat with the remainders of yarn from the blanket.
Oh Sharon this blanket is adorable. Clever girl, clever hat! ❤️✔️
What a darling blanket, Sharon, and gorgeous hat too.
