This month we embrace all the things that come are under the African sky.
Children...
Land...
Monuments...
People...
...and the Animals.
Now is the time to be creative with flags, animals, beadwork designs, instruments, cloth, housing styles and so much more from the continent of Africa.
Let us celebrate together, all that Africa has to show the world, and wrap the children in a warm cozy blanket.

I think I love your camera Patricia. I googled the yarn and yes in their pics it looks more emerald than apple. :))
Beautiful squares! They look like four small suns. It´s rather cold in our country now, so it´s very pleasant to see your warm yellow beauties, Patricia.
Beautiful colour and pattern Patricia. I’m hoping it’s Aldi’s yellow?
I had to check that, Chris, as it was in a pack I was bought for Christmas, but yes, it was from Aldi!
That’s a creamy farm butter yellow Patricia…a colour that makes a blanket stand out.
This is incredible, Karla, and the matching rosettes are so pretty.
Amy, I´m very glad you recognized it´s a parrot/macaw. You know sometimes it´s not easy to crochet animals.
I think you always do such an amazing job Karla and this is no exception! Your rosettes are the finishing touch :))
Absolutely STUNNING, Karla!! LOVE the rosettes. This is so vibrant and colourful. :))
So very beautiful and clever too. Magnificent idea and colour choices ❤️
