Umbrella name for knit-a-square

Hello all, as mentioned in the latest ezine, we are now incorporating knit-a-square as a registered charity. Knit-a-square as a name covering what we do here, knitting and crocheting to keep the children warm WILL NOT CHANGE. The website and forum will stay exactly the same. But we need an umbrella name which will cover our other activities, for example, a volunteer program, organising eduction programs for the children and fund-raising. Thoughts we have had so far as KASKin (KAS = abbreviation for knit-a-square, Kin = family), KAScade and For Orphans (although we may be involved in helping other children too as we have already been). Once our charter is written legally and all stakeholders agree to it, we have to act exactly in accordance with it, so we really need to get all of this right now. We believe that KAs belongs to everyone, you, the children, the carers, the volunteers and the donors (when we get them). So really delighted to have your input.

Hi I would like to put forward the umbrella name of KASLOL, to be known as Knit A Square-Love Of Life. Anybody who has used computers, texts etc. can recognise LOL as a multi functional abbreviation. The mission is helping and loving.

  Never thought of that one before. Even if it's not used as the main name, it might fit very well as the name for the Memorial Square page or our "special projects" page, things we're excited about doing for various reasons.

      Of course it would make a perfect title for our "amusing anecdotes" page too, all the misadventures one can have with yarn. The general public has noooo idea, lol.

  visually it seems to make a difference accentuating the words aid or care..

        Yea everyone. Just heard from the lawyers today. Just a bit more tooing and froing with paperwork and then they can apply for our registration which takes about 4 weeks. We will all have to have a cyber glass of champagne on that day.
