Welcome Everyone to our discussion on Themes for 2021.
Please be encouraged to participate in the suggestion of themes for next year. The more the merrier.
It maybe an old favourite you'd like to revisit...or something we've never done before. All suggestions gratefully received.
If you should like to host a theme...that would be wonderful...and if you've never hosted before, we are here to help and support.
As you can see, our themes give thought to many different square designs.
Your ideas please?

Hi Bev, I thought I could put my hand up to host a theme this year.
The best month for me would be October and I would like to host ‘Because They’re There’. I wondered if a colour was needed, to encourage folk to use of whatever they have in their stash, but if you think a colour is needed, then perhaps green?
As for a title, I’ll think about it and get back to you.
For the title, I thought ‘Waiting To Be Chosen’.
Thanks so much, Chris....this is great!! LOVE the title!!
Green it is. :))
Bev, thank you for taking all of our suggestions and compiling this list of fantabulous themes! As always, you've done a terrific job :)
If I may, I would like to put my hand up for March again. Usually this seems to be the best month for me - although who knows what 2021 will bring, eh.
Since it was "I" (I think) who suggested the New to You theme, I will offer to host that one. The problem with it, though, is that I guess I can't choose BLUE for my color since that would definitely NOT be new to me ... LOL So, Bev, I feel I must, with a very heavy heart, slumped shoulders and dragging feet, choose the color PINK for that month - since that would be the most new to me color I can name ... hahaha ... xo
Thank you all so very much for your rapid responses.
Amy, I wondered if January would suit you? No pressure, if it doesn't.
Patricia.....Free for All sounds perfect!!
Glo, I apologize for forgetting to add that you had volunteered to do a theme in March. I did remember around midnight, when I was waiting to fall asleep....hahaha.
January is fine...just give me a theme and I will try and come up with a title.
Hearts and Flowers? African theme? I know we used to do Africa around the start of the year, so as to get the squares to the Barn in time for Mandela Day in July. :))
I can do Africa.
I will call it "Safari Through Africa" and the color can be gold/yellow
Oooo we're pretty cool at sorting stuff when we put our heads together aren't we....... - it's looking like an interesting and varied selection of themes and ideas for next year..............!
I’m not sure why my coments didn’t appear here Bev, they are before Gloria’s post yesterday.
Oops, that should read comments :))
I could do April or November - both those tires sound like great fun. If you let me know which I am then I will choose a colour for that month if you would like, as well.
