A HUGE THANK YOU
to you all
for taking the time to read and offer suggestions for themes in 2021.
We now have a wonderful collection of varied ideas/themes
and also a new accompaniment to these themes, in the PJ-CoM.
Each month we will have a Colour of the Month, with which we
can make PJ (single coloured squares) in the colour that your host has suggested....an added bit of fun and variation. :))

Each year, we like to gather our themes together under an
umbrella, keeping us mindful of whom we are creating our crafting for and what our mission is, in our contributions to 'our children'.
This year, our dear friend, Chris has created another thoughtful umbrella.
Our Umbrella Theme for 2021 is ….. FUN
Our children in South Africa have so little, and they have endured even more difficulties in 2020. Wouldn’t it be great if we could not only send them warmth, but a little FUN too?
So let us in 2021, with our needles, hooks, yarn, appliqués and imaginations, send......
Fun squares, hats, hand warmers and toys from our Unstoppable, creative members, who want to help Nurture vulnerable children in South Africa by sharing warmth and love and bring a little FUN into their lives.
Please enjoy and take inspiration, if needed, from this collage of photos created by Chris, from our members creations.
Thank you all for the sunshine you have bought to the lives of the children this year, in your crafting.
Many thanks to those who are able to host a theme or two next year. It is going to be
F. U. N!!!!
Wishing you all Happy Holidays.... and hoping that you have been good gals and guys, so that the man in the big red suit might just pop a little something extra in your stocking. xo

Oh, dear, Bev ... I think you are really in trouble if all that makes sense to you. It is partly the time of the year (how did it get here so fast?) and partly all the work you've been doing to get us organized for the new year, and partly because you are still a woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, caregiver. WHEW! who wouldn't be confused?
EEEeee lad what are you all like - great fun!!
Oh, Karen, I think we've all gone a bit wonky this year, like the students at the end of the school term. But we will behave next year, I promise. Well, maybe not promise, but plan, or, um .... well, you get the idea.
Hi Everyone. Just a little note for those who are enjoying our CoM (colour of the month) addition to the themes this year.....the colour for October has been changed from green to purple.
Great news I LOVE purple!
Yay!! Me, too. But I think I used a lot in the "lilac" challenge - lol, I guess I'll be digging deep in the yarn boxes in October!
I LOVE purple, too!! Was happy this was suggested.
Dig deep, but don't fall in, Sadie.....haha.
Ha ha - if I was thin enough to fit into my yarn bins, I'd be very happy!!
I hear you. I think that's the only thing that stops me falling into mine......haha.
That's lucky - I was recently given a large ball of purple yarn by a neighbour who had it left over. I know what I'll be using it for now!
Lucky for me, too, since a couple skeins of the Purple Flowers yarn just happened to "fall" into my cart at the craft store recently, where we went just to get some broken picture frames repaired. How did that happen??? (Actually, it is my husband's fault, because he encouraged me to just check the yarn section. He's a keeper!)
Lucky you, Patricia!! You obviously have nice neighbours. :))
Ooh yes, Sharon....DEFINITELY a keeper...what a man.....hahaha.

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
Our thanks to CreateCare Global for supporting the Square Circle Forum and helping to spread the wonderful work that KAS does.
