IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE TAKE GREAT CARE IN FILLING OUT THE CUSTOMS SLIP.
Please declare '0' as the parcel value. If your postmaster insists on a value, please declare value ‘1’. Anything more incurs customs fees.

SQUARES LIST UPDATE
Because of the Covid-19 there will be no opportunity to produce Squares Lists.
The very brave volunteers in South Africa go to the Barn from time to time and collect and sort blankets, squares, dolls and other items as quick as they can.
Priority number 1 is to distribute blankets and other items and join received squares into blankets.
As you will understand, this all happens under very difficult and dangerous circumstances.
Unfortunately there is not always time to make pictures of all blankets.
The PACKING LISTS are kept safe and will be recorded in a later stage into the squares list.
We kindly ask you for your patience.Please visit the discussion pages:

Maybe you spot your squares, blankets, dolls or other goodies there.If you recently or a couple of months ago, have sent a parcel, it will arrive, however, because of Covid-19 the worldwide postal system is not working as it should be, so don't worry that your parcel will have gone astray. In the past it sometimes has taken months before parcels arrived and it seldom happens in 10 years that parcels went missing.
Please keep on making squares, handwarmers, hats and toys for our vulnerable children.

The October 2020 Squares List is available.
MONTHLY TOTALS:
In October we recorded 337 parcels containing 18,250 squares,
equal to 529 blankets.
Many other items were received, such as hats, hand-warmers, go-overs, cuddly toys and other goodies, for which we are grateful.
Please note:
Because of Covid-19 the Post Office did not receive many parcels during August and September. Despite that, it was encouraging to receive the total of 18,520 squares!It seems we are receiving post on a much more regular basis these days, and managing quite well although we are presently going into the KASbarn only every second week. Should a greater number of parcels start coming in via the PO, we will simply double our efforts and go in every week as before.
