On parcel opening day at Ronda's home, if she gets a chance she enjoys taking photographs of various items received from the Post Office.  Obviously, Ronda cannot be expected to take pics of everything, but it would be nice from time-to-time to see what arrives.  Many wonderful contributors do not feature their work on the Forum so we are likely to get a chance to see other interesting garments and squares!

Glad to see the young kids getting involved.

Wonderful group of pictures, again.   Love seeing these stacks and stacks and stacks of squares ready to be made into blankets.   Nice to see the young ones there, and what is that Amazing square just behind Hayden???  Someone made a whole child, with red hair and a green dress!  Wow.

That was good spotting Sharon. It is a beauty.

Great job Maxine!

More opening pics from August!

Such a sweet letter and it goes to show that movies have a role to play in motivating children to do good - in this case The Lorax!

The children will love these cuddlies!

Dungarees for a baby

Volunteers hard at work!

Amazing squares people have made. I know some forum members made some of them. I love those cuddlies.

Oh, how I love these pictures!   The wonderful, huggable sewn toys and the kitty pillows with their smiling faces.

Squares knitted by elementary school children!  And such neat work, too.

And the squares I remember from the monthly challenges..... they make me smile just as much here as they did when first posted.

But the best one might be the photo showing the stacks and stacks of squares all bundled up and ready to be made into blankets.  Ahhh, warmth.

Great job.  Thanks to all the volunteers, and thanks, again, for showing us all the wonderful photos of the work in South Africa.

Oh!  I see my elephant square, how fun!  I recognize lot's of squares made by ladies here on the forum!

I know it's such a special feeling when you see your square.  CONGRATS!

What fun to see some of our challenge squares arriving.  Mary Anne Fellows "Elephants Marching", Linda Maltby's 12 Days of Christmas, and Wendy Lewis' Transportation squares are there.

September openings plus a few extras from previous sessions :

The letter organiser system!

Ronda still has to pinch herself looking at the well-oiled machine in the new offices!!!

Gina - designing blankets on the floor!

USA volunteers, Lesley, Kathy & Cynthia!

Our Matthew is feeling so much better after his operation a few weeks ago! He was confirmed this week and Ronda was honured to be his "sponsor".

Yes, the new space is really working.  More volunteers, more squares, more correspondance.  I count nine and ten people working in one room, and then there are the other rooms.  FANTASTIC!!!

"CreateCare Global has set itself two tasks. The first is physical: to bring hope, support and comfort to children for whom poverty and loss are everyday tormentors. The second, and in our view equally important, is to spread the message to the world."
