Very late opening this thread this year for various reasons that you know about but lots of pictures have now been received and should be posted over the next few days. Many more will appear in the Blanket Room 2017 which will be opened shortly.

I love photos when we get to see the SA team. Hi to Lauren!

I hope Leanne is well recovered and that her surgery was successful.

The shelves are looking a little healthier, too.  :))

I share Bev's comment. It's always a pleasure to see you all in SA and to see what everyone is sending.

Lovely to see that Leanne is back in the barn. I hope the surgery was a success.
Thank you to Lauren for lending a hand !

It is lovely to see the team in SA all chatting and having a laugh as they work sorting out the squares.  Thank you for posting these lovely photos!

This week's news from the KAS Barn [photos and comments by Estelle]

I am happy to see Knit-A-Square SA as 'official' name, lovely banner and labels! I wondered if the little publicity business cards that we use, could be changed to reflect this?

Yes, Chris.  Andrea is working on new business cards !

More from the KAS Barn:

Our shelves are filling up again thanks to all the amazing contributors out there who knit and crochet and post these squares to KNIT A SQUARE.

I love the new signs and the new tables. Everyone is so busy and look at all the love flooding into the building in the form of squares and toys. I am readying some to send myself.  Great photos and yaaay for the official registration too!  Thanks for posting all these updates, they are super to look at.

Sooooo much good news here, today. New tables, new labels, new registration.....woo hoo!!

Thanks so much to Estelle for letting me know that the Christmas squares have arrived.

I’m so happy to see my bright stripes have arrived. I thinks, then, that the 14 blankets Kathy knit and the other 7 I knit must be there also. Hurrah!!!

Yes Judith it was a great big box that Mabel opened. The colours of that blanket just caught my eye so I had to post a photo of it. Unfortunately I don’t know what else was in the box. Thank you and Kathy for all the beautiful blankets and toys you have sent us over the years.
